This article is about tips and guiding. For achievements list, see achievements. |
Here you can find tips and tricks to most of the achievements. Some achievements will not have a full guide towards each, due to tactic being written in the main page of the achievement, these will have a link, or simply because they do not need a guide at all. If you have any ideas that you believe can help, please add them. The achievements in this list are categorized.
Unlocking NPCs[]
Returned to His Forge[]
- In the Goldmine you will find a room marked with an exclamation mark on the map, which is a room containing 3 little mushrooms, which follow you, some rocks, and a barrel. The barrel will always contain one Bomb, that you can use to bomb the entrance to the room ahead of you. In the room marked with an exclamation mark on the map, you can find Wayland.
- Tip: You can also talk with Wayland, buy a melee upgrade and get Wayland's Boots' Schematics.
- Note: The mushrooms do not count as enemies towards room clearing, but if you'll squish them while having Arachnophobia, Spiders will come out of them.
Mimicked[]
- On Goldmine 3, you will find a room marked with an exclamation mark on the map, with locked Dodson in a small cell. You need Prisoner Key to open the cell. You will encounter Rockpile Mimic on this floor. You cannot avoid fighting it, since it blocks your way to the next floor. Once you kill it, you get the key. Go back to Dodson, and unlock his cell.
- For attacks and tips, see Rockpile Mimic.
- Tip: you can also talk with him more, and he will give you a
Bomb.
Staying Positive[]
- In Delvemore Dungeon, you can find a room marked with an exclamation mark on the map. When entering the room you will find Dibble locked. You will need two Keys to free him. Upon opening the gate, you will get the achievement.
- Tip: All items are half priced, and there is always a secret wall to the north of him, containing a thorium Chest and Schematics.
A Dangerous Ally[]
- In Delvemore Dungeon, next to Dibble in the room marked with an exclamation mark on the map, you can find the Dungeon Gargoyles. You will know the difference between the two by the entrance. the Dungeon Gargoyles' room is locked, and requires a key to enter, while Dibble's does not. After fighting the gargoyles, you will get the Master's Key. On every Delvemore Dungeon's floor you can find a rock with a little x on it. It is also a bit greyer than the other rocks. Underneath you will find a path leading to Lillyth in a cell. Approach the cell and unlock it.
- You can bomb the gargoyles to make the fight easier as they will not attack you at all, until you get close enough to the key, which gives you an option to win without fighting at all. See also the Dungeon Gargoyles for tactics.
- Having
Nikko or
Thunderbird will help you fight them.
Firebird does not do damage to them.
- If you do not find The Dungeon Gargoyles' room for a few runs, go to Lillyth's cell, and this should make the room appear in the future runs.
- Do not attack Toadvine and Bathcat in the cell room, as Bathcat will teleport you out of the room, and you will not be able to unlock Lillyth in this floor. The cell room resets on the next floor.
- Tip: You can search the Skeleton in her cell to get an item.
Heart of Darkness[]
- You will need to find Kurtz in a crawl space between Goldmine 4 and Delvemore Dungeon 3. The Djinn will make it easier for you to find crawl spaces. You will also need two keys. Having Potion of True Sight, and holding on to it until Goldmine 4 is also helpful.
- Tip: There are some skeletons next to him. Each of them holds a note which explains what happened to them. There is also the Hungry Ghost's Schematics next to him.
A Friend In Need[]
- In the Goldmine you will find Beltrame wandering around in a room. You will then have to play until you find three bombable rooms which contain a Shiitake, a Nightshade and a Blastcap. Just keep playing until you get them. You most likely will not find them all in a single run. After finding all three, you will then have to play a little more before seeing Beltrame again. Talking with Beltrame with having the three mushrooms unlocks the achievement.
- The mushrooms can only be found in the Goldmine floors.
- See Mushroom Quest for more information about this achievement.
- For specific info about each of the mushrooms, see
Shiitake,
Blastcap,
Nightshade.
Is This a Friend?[]
- After defeating the Rockpile Mimic you will be able to encounter Black Rabbit throughout your runs. Just play until you find her. See also Rockpile Mimic.
- Tip: She sells Schematics for 25 Gold on the first time you meet her. Also, destroying all pots in her room drops gold.
Behind the Bookcase[]
- Unlock Griswold, the Collector.
- In Arkanos' room at the Hub you can find a bookcase behind him. When peeping the bookcase, you will notice that a book appears to be missing.
- On Halls of Din 1, there will be a room, containing a sign with the text "Fight?" and a lever. This room is marked with an exclamation mark on the map.
- When pulling the lever, both the lever and the sign will disappear, and the fight will start. You will have to fight three different waves of enemies. After each one you will get Food. After fighting off all the enemies, you will hear a sound, and the Library Key will drop. This will open the room north of you. The locked room contains bookcases, and a book which belongs to Arkanos. When getting back to the Hub again, go back to Arkanos' room, and put the book in the bookcase. This will unlock the entrance to Griswold's room.
- Beware, as the waves contain at least four enemies each, and all of them are powerful and dangerous.
- The room will also always contain two pits in the lower middle part of the room.
- Tip: Once unlocking Griswold, you can find Familiar eggs on your journeys. You will be able to swap to
Firebird right away, as you don't need to find an egg for it.
Schematics[]
- See also Schematics for obtaining these, but mostly, you can find Schematics in thorium Chests.
Artisan I[]
- Craft a new Relic at Wayland.
- You must have Wayland unlocked for the achievement. To unlock him, see "Returned to His Forge".

Scribe II[]
- Learn 10 new Blessings at Lillyth.
- You must have Lillyth unlocked for the achievement. To unlock her, see "A Dangerous Ally".
Breeder I[]
- Hatch a new Familiar.
- You will need to have Griswold unlocked for this, and a Familiar egg's Schematics (which can be found in the mines after unlocking Griswold by blowing up purple Torches, in thorium Chests or in cursed Chests.
- To unlock Griswold, the Collector, see "Behind the Bookcase".
Breeder II[]
- Hatch 5 new Familiars.
- You will need to have Griswold unlocked for this, and Familiar eggs' Schematics (which can be found in the mines after unlocking Griswold by blowing up purple Torches, in thorium Chests or in cursed Chests.
- To unlock Griswold, the Collector, see "Behind the Bookcase".
Upgrades[]
Belt Loop[]
Bandolier[]
Perfectly Balanced[]
Trusty Pickaxe[]
Foxy[]
Like a Glove[]
Maximum Integrity[]
It's Pronounced Nuclear[]
A Very Loyal Customer[]
- Buy all Shop upgrades from the Pilfer (NPC) in the Hub. This should cost you about
41,700 (+1200 to join the loyalty program).
Bosses[]
- This will include very basic information, or other tips that aren't written in the main page. To see tactic and attacks, see main page per each one.
Walk Without Rhythm[]
- At the end of Goldmine 4, you can go down to fight Selt. For Selt's attacks and tactics see Selt, Queen of Sand.
- Tip: you can skip Selt by fighting Bathcat and Toadvine, to get more progress and upgrades before fighting it in future runs.
Stone Is Never Just Stone[]
- On Delvemore Dungeon 1 you can find a locked
room. This contains the Dungeon Gargoyles. They are optional and can be fought in future runs, allowing you to get more upgrades or attacking Familiars. See the Dungeon Gargoyles for attacks and tactics.
- One of the easiest ways to deal with them is by keeping some Bombs. The fight only start when you get close to the key, allowing you to conveniently Kill win without fighting at all.
- Even though Firebird cannot attack them, if its on level 2 at least, it will significantly reduce damage taken from their attacks.
Nikko and
Thunderbird can help attack them.
A Pebble In The Road[]
- On Delvemore Dungeon 4 you can find Mortar. By killing him you unlock the achievement. For Mortar's attacks and info, see Mortar, Charged Golem.
Nikko or
Firebird can be useful for their attacks. They both can do damage to several enemies at a time in they are close (Firebird always, Nikko on level 3 and critical hits).
Gordon's Tunic or the
Thunderbird on level 2 will help reduce damage taken from electrified water. For Mortar's second phase, it is easier to do melee attacks on him since the orbs are far away, leaving him vulnerable. Destroying his arms damages him as well.
- Tip: you can skip him to get to Halls of Din by pulling a lever which gives you 8 curse, or if you have Float Boots/Float Potion. This allows you to get more upgrades and unlock Familiars that can help you in the fight.
You Attack The Darkness[]
- On Halls of Din 4 you can find a room leading to Noori. To see his attacks, see Noori, Spectre of Darkness.
- You cannot avoid this fight for now.
- Having
Thunderbird,
Firebird or
Nikko along with some serum Potions can help you with damage. Blessings such as
Gust can make it so you can hit him several times with one throw.
Fury Potion and
Salamander Tail can help you light up the torches, allowing you to do more damage.
- Having
Firebird with
Gordon's Tunic and
Rain of Fire or
Waking Light can keep you safe while always having a way to light up the torches.
- Noori is not moving too fast, making it easy to use melee attacks on him. You can easily escape the hands by jumping. Since he does a lot of damage but doesn't attack that rapidly,
Nullstone or
Antimatter can help quite a bit.
Protein Shake can give more value as well since there are Torches to cook the Food with, and nearly nothing that destroys the Food, giving you the option to use it later on in the fight.
- The hands have more range than it seems, as they also have the slam range, besides the hand itself.
Hydra Slayer[]
- On the Shimmering Caverns 4 you'll find a room leading to Ponzu. To see his attacks, see Ponzu, Scaled Assembly.
- Since its hitbox is so small, it can be easier to use melee attacks (Just beware whenever he is doing his roar attack!).
- Nikko, Thunderbird and Firebird are all offensive, but since Ponzu disappears and reappears all the time, they barely attack him. Nikko can however increase the Peasant's odds to land a critical hit. Sol's Phoenix can be a great choice as well, giving the player more health.
- Always search which one has a blue gem on their neck, and attack it, as it's its only vulnerable spot.
- Any movement speed increasing items can be a great help, allowing you to get close to him more, and still avoid its attacks.
- Kill Toxic Scales. Poison can be very dangerous due to its slow effect.
- If you can ignore the rest of the scaled (enemies) without getting hit, it will help you kill Ponzu faster.
- Ponzu's attacks are very rapid. Avoid tanking it.
- Higher attack speed is crucial, because the faster you can move after attacking, the better.
Float Boots can let the player get closer to the pits without falling, making melee attacks easier.
Wayland's Boots will let you avoid taking damage from the circular crystal splash attacks, however it doesn't block damage from the horizontal line spike attacks.
- If you are going for throw attacks,
Guidance can help to get rid of the ads.
- When Ponzu disappears and reappears, you have a second to kill ads/drink a Potion.
Beheaded and Betailed[]
- On Golden Core 4 you'll find a boss entrance leading to Seer. To see its attacks, see Seer, World's Heart.
- Seer has a very predictable movement pattern, walking around the edge of the boss room and stopping randomly in one of the 4 corners.
- When Seer is attacking there will be noticeable pulsating lighting effects along the top side of the salamanders body, you can use this to know when you need to move out of the way.
- Seer does not do contact damage, so you can get very close to the head without getting hurt.
- The
Lava Walkers boot are very useful for avoiding fire damage from the flames that appear under Seer's feet. However if the player doesn't have
Lava Walkers it is recommended to avoid
Galoshes as this can lead to lots of fire damage in the Seer fight.
- Seer has a phase that is randomly activated which will shroud its head and body in mist, this makes seer invulnerable to attacks, however it can be disable by exploding a bomb near it's head.
Rogue's Ultimatum Achievements[]
- To gain these achievements the game must be played with the
Rogue's Ultimatum hex active.
- To see about each Boss, you can either go see their normal achievement version, or just enter their main page.
- For ways to increase some of your stats, such as HP or damage without upgrading your equipment, see Stats.
Worm Tamer[]
- Can be fought on Goldmine 4.
- See Selt, Queen of Sand for attacks and tactics.
- See also "Walk Without Rhythm".
Thunderstruck[]
- Can be fought on Delvemore Dungeon 4.
- See Mortar, Charged Golem for attacks and tactics.
- Se also "A Pebble in the Road".

A Herculean Labor[]
- Can be fought on Shimmering Caverns 4
- See Ponzu, Scaled Assembly for attacks and tactics.
- See also "Hydra Slayer".
Destroyer of Worlds[]
- Must be fought on Golden Core 4
- See Seer, World's Heart for attacks and tactics.
- See also "Beheaded and Betailed".
Secret Achievements[]
It's A Secret to Everyone[]
- Complete the tutorial.
- There is a hidden room in the tutorial. When you get a bomb, backtrack to the starting room and blow up the top wall to reveal the hidden room.
The Cat and the Toad[]
- You will need a new save file for this one, or one in which you have not killed Selt in yet. Beat Toadvine and Bathcat and enter Delvemore Dungeon without beating Selt.
- Bombs can be useful for the fight, especially since you cannot damage Toadvine with ranged attacks. Melee upgrades are helpful as well.
- Strength Serum, Savagery Serum and Alacrity Serum and can help with damage.
- Toadvine can charge at you really fast from far away, so beware.
- It's a good idea to get Bathcat out of the way first since they can heal Toadvine, but not themselves, and they take less hits to defeat. Bathcat can also be damaged with ranged attacks. They can create a shield to protect themselves, but it disappears after a few seconds.
- The room has some oil barrels in it which can be both dangerous and useful, since it slows you down and you are unable to jump, but there are Torches in the room which allows you to set Toadvine on fire and damage him from afar. Galoshes can help you in here.
- To attack Toadvine just stay next to him, attack him with your swing attack, jump to the other side of him and attack again. Just repeat this until he dies.
- See also Bathcat & Toadvine.
Shopception[]
- You will need 3 Shop in a Bottles for this, or 2 when finding a secret Shop in a crawl space.
- In the secret shop, drink the Potion to spawn a crawl space. In the crawl space, Drink another Shop in a Bottle and go down again.
- You do not have to have all upgrades to the Empty Bottle (or any at all), but it is recommended.
Spirit is very useful, giving you another Potion slot, and a chance to spawn a potion from Chests or when drinking other Potions.
Djinn and
Potion of True Sight can also help you find a crawl space which may contain the secret Shop.
- TRANSMUT3 Installation and TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle can be used to change Potions in the room to other Potions.
Sol's Phoenix can make the transmut3 safer, since it heals you back a bit.
- If you are at the end of your game and have at least one Shop in a Bottle do not give up, and use it. In the secret shop there might be another Shop in a Bottle or other Potions with TRANSMUT3 Installation in the room.
Rainbow Kernels can duplicate Potions, making it way easier to the player if they also finds Shop in a Bottle.
- Get ready to use lots of Gold as well, as it can really help you.
- Potion Looping makes this achievement very easy in the endgame.
I Found a Shortcut[]
- You will need a new save file for this, or at least one you haven't defeated Mortar in yet.
- In order to acomplish this the player must go to the Dungeon Exit, there are many ways to get across this gap as listed on that page:
- Pulling the Cursed Lever
- Using
Echo Blast to bomb the crystal walls and jumping across,
Float Boots or a
Float Potion will allow you to walk across
- Using
Sequence Breaker or {{Item|Spacial Sickness you can teleport across
- Other Advanced methods are listed at Dungeon Exit.
A True Adventurer[]
- Obtain
Adventurer's Whip and
Adventurer's Hat at the same run.
- If you have trouble getting that achievement, try expanding the Shop with Simple Chest or shop upgrades bought from Pilfer (NPC), and start with
Duplicator as these give you more opportunities to encounter the two Relics. Both of them do not cost a lot, and will give you more Gold than their prices when together, so they are worth buying.
- Notice that you need to craft first Adventurer's Hat as it is not unlocked by default. Starting with him is useful as well.
- Items such as TRANSMUT3 Installation, TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle, Transmutagen and Transmutagen Blast can help you by changing Relics in the room to other Relics, increasing the chance of you to encounter the two.
Spirit can help you to gain more Potions such as
TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle,
Transmutagen and
Shop in a Bottle to help re-rolling.
Sol's Phoenix can help since she heals you when damaging yourself with TRANSMUT3 Installation and allows you to use it more and with a lower risk.
Good Boys[]
- Find Shadow in a Secret room in the Goldmine, Engine in a Secret room in Delvemore Dungeon, and Dillon in a Secret room in the Halls of Din.
Potion of True Sight and
Djinn can help find Secret rooms.
- Using
Circinus will cause more secret rooms to spawn increasing the likely hood of finding the dogs.
Demolitionist[]
- Find a Secret room.
- If you have troubles finding Secret rooms you can use the Djinn,
Potion of True Sight, and look for sparkles when activating an explosion in the room. See also Secret rooms.
Spelunker[]
- Find a crawl space.
- If you have trouble finding those, you can use Djinn or
Potion of True Sight. See also Secret rooms (crawl spaces section).
- Needs to be checked whether Lillyth's crawl space counts as well or not, as this crawl space is the easiest to find, since the rock is more noticeable and has an x on it.
I Was Saving That[]
- Die with Elixir in one of your Potions slots.
Elixir needs to be unlocked first.
- The easiest way to get the achievement is to craft the Potion at Baba's and then actively hurt yourself in the mines until you die (when the potion is in one of your potion's slots).
Everyone Be Cool, This is a Robbery[]
- Get the Pilfer's Gift's Schematics.
- For this you will need two NPCs: one is Pilfer (NPC), and the other can be either Wayland or Dibble.
- To obtain the Pilfer (NPC) you will need to pay
1,200 to Shop Keeper in the mines to join the loyalty program, which will send the Pilfer (NPC) up to the Hub.
- The second Thing you need is a Bomb while in the Hub. You can either unlock a Bomb Relic at Wayland to get it, or buy one (or a Bag O' Bombs) from Dibble. To unlock the two, see "Mimicked" or "Returned to His Forge".
- Then, simply jump to the Pilfer (NPC) stand, and bomb it. The pilfer will drop the Schematics.
A Deal With The Demon[]
- Buy one of Sho'guul's Items.
- If you are struggling finding Sho'guul, try to avoid obtaining any Blessings, and to get as many Curses as possible (removing the Curses, and the Blessings gained from any Censers does not affect your chances of finding Sho'guul.)
- See also Sho'guul's lair for the exact math.
An Unlikely Alliance[]
- Beat the 3 waves in the fight at Halls of Din 4 with Toadvine and Bathcat.
- Attacking the Scale Tunnels first can help reduce the amount of enemies you'll encounter.
- It's helpful to upgrade your HP (tunics) at the Hub before trying to fight the waves.
- Guard Bathcat heals so fast that you can just tank the enemies while taking hits for her, since she cannot heal herself, and does not have a lot of health. Toadvine deals a lot of damage, making the fight easier. He has more health than Bathcat and can be healed, making Bathcat the easiest target for most enemies, which will go after her. She also creates a shield every once in a while, allowing you to have a few seconds to focus more on attacking.
- Using melee in this fight is very helpful due to the ability to attack a couple of enemies at the same time.
Nikko and
Thunderbird can be very helpful.
Firebird will do a bit less damage since the Scale Tunnels are strong against fire.
Dying[]
They Were Only Peasants[]
- Die 10 times.
A Mere Statistic[]
- Die 50 times.
A Slightly Larger Statistic[]
- Die 100 times
Pilfers[]
Money Grubbers[]
Easy Come, Easy Go[]
#Blessed[]
- One of the easiest way of doing so is by having Bottled Pilfer. The other is by spawning it with Sacrifice Rooms, or you can just keep waiting to randomly see it. It's quite hard to kill the Hoarding Pilfer normally, so Blessings such as Vigor and Exuberance are very helpful. Other helpful Relics are Iron Branch, Queen's Crown, Hyperstone for swing and King's Crown, and Sonic Boom for throw. You can also drink Alacrity Serum, but it's only recommended if you know you are going to spawn the Hoarding Pilfer because time is crucial and drinking the Potion can slow you down.
- Having the
Sylph can help since it makes it easier to pray for Exuberance or Vigor, and to get rid of problematic Curses.
- Another Trick is to have some Thorium saved, and then craft Vigor, King's Crown and Bottled Pilfer to start the run with. This makes it so you have a better start and to ensure your victory you just need to pray in Altar for more speed.
- Censer, Ornate Censer and Din's Censer can give you Vigor/Exuberance right off the start.
Duplicator or Transmutagen Blast can also be good Relics to craft at Wayland to start with, because it gives you more options to find attack speed increasing Relics.
Peeping[]
They Weren't Going to Use It[]
- Peep 10 Skeleton (object).
Defiler of the Dead[]
- Peep 100 Skeleton (object).
Locations[]
Delving In Delvemore[]
- Either beat Bathcat and Toadvine or selt to get Dungeon Key and enter Delvemore Dungeon.
Forbid-din Halls[]
- Either beat mortar, pull the lever before Halls of Din and get 8 curse or use Float Boots or Float Potion to pass to the other side of the room, and enter the room leading to the Halls of Din.

9,000 at the Shimmering Caverns 4, and proceed to enter the room leading to the Golden Core.
Shops[]
A Loyal Customer[]
- Talk with the Shop Keeper. They will offer you to pay
1,200 to join the loyalty program, and get a Pilfer (NPC) that sells Shop upgrades in the Hub.
- Tip: Upon doing that and going back to the Hub, buy a Bomb from dibble and blow up the pilfer NPC. This will unlock Pilfer's Gift Schematics, and the "Everybody Stay Cool, This is a Robbery" achievement.
Ready For Business[]
- In your runs you will find a red Shop Keeper behind bombable blocks. They all require the
Echo Blast upgrade bought from Dodson in the Hub. First you will find
Super Special Supplies, then you will find
Silver Star Membership and after that you will find
Lost Supply Box, Typically these upgrades will be found on separate runs, or on different levels in the same run. You will also need
Gold Star Membership (,after getting
Silver Star Membership). When you get all four, you will unlock the achievement.
Patron I[]
- Spend a total of
10,000 in Shops.
Patron II[]
- Spend a total of
50,000 in Shops.
Patron III[]
- Spend a total of
100,000 in Shops.
Piracy[]
- Duplicate any item in the Shop and then pick the duplicated item up.
- Can be done with
Popcorn Kernels,
Seasoned Kernels or
Rainbow Kernels.
Spirit can help you to get that achievement due to its ability to spawn more Potions.
Freeloader Draught and
Rabbit Gloves do not work towards this achievement as it is not stealing.
Supermarket Sweep[]
- You need to buy all the items in a fully upgraded Shop (must be the normal or the secret Shop).
- You need to buy the upgrades from Pilfer (NPC) in the Hub.
- Starting your run with some Gold can help.
- Having anything that increases Gold income or anything that gives Gold can help if you do not have Gold such as
Wealth,
Golden Popcorn,
Four Leaf Clover,
Golden Powder,
Golden Kernels,
Bottled Pilfer,
Auglycerin,
Chest in a Bottle,
Rainbow Kernels, etc.
- You can also just try to get the achievement when you've bought all items in the Hub, and you have pretty much nothing else to do with the Gold.
Freeloader Draught and
Rabbit Gloves can make it so one item for free.
Get many[]
Key Hoarder & Bomb Hoarder[]
- It's easier to get many Bombs to get Bomb Hoarder and then switch with Impish Key Bomb due to the drop rate of Bombs and Doubling Saison.
- Whenever you see Basic Items in the list, it includes Keys, Bombs, Key Rings and Bag O' Bombs. (Ignoring Talisman).
- It's easier to get this achievement with a new crafted Relic and Potion, after ascending at least once, and after buying all Upgrades, Potions' upgrades and Shop upgrades in the Hub and starting with a decent amount of Gold to be able to buy many items in Shops.
Potions that can help[]
Potion of True Sight to find more secret room that may contain Basic Items
Potion of Plenty gives a key and a Bomb.

Spirit helps to keep and gain more Potions which can be very helpful.
- Sacrifice Rooms can spawn Basic Items as well.
- Skeletons can bring Basic Items when peeped.
- TRANSMUT3 Installation can help to change Basic Items in the room to other types of Basic Items.
Glutton for Punishment[]
- You need to heal 1000 HP in a single run. The easiest part is to lose health since it is easy to get hurt. However, you will need to find ways to raise your HP up. Whenever your HP is full and you have ways to heal yourself on this floor, hurt yourself and heal. You will not see here items that raise your maximum HP, since even that they may allow you to do some riskier actions, but they aren't that important to the healing itself. If you still want to see a list, see HP in Stats.
- Do NOT take
Karmic Scale as it will set all healing to 1.
- TRANSMUT3 Installation and TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle can be helpful to both hurt the player, and maybe change Food, Relics or Potions in the room to better ones.
- Try to avoid having
Illness or
Fever.
- Do NOT use
Purification Potion as it sets all Bombs and Keys to 0.
Helpful relics[]
Adventurer's Whip it is an obvius one, but if gained early in your run, it can provide you lots of Food from Chests, and can be very powerful with Leftovers.
Butcher's Cleaver Get sometimes Medium Rare Steak when killing enemies.

Salamander Tail The ability to cook Food is helpful.
Seer's Blood can be used as a fire source to cook as well.
Totem of Life heal every new room you enter.
Seasoned Popcorn Food can duplicate itself.
Miniaturizer can work extremely well with
Leftovers, but is also very helpful on its own.
- Note:
Miner's Flask with
Spirit ( higher chance of finding Potions on level 2 and spawning new ones when drinking Potions on level 3),
Troll Sweat and
Catalyst for a stronger effect of Troll Sweat can be good as a combination, but besides that, Miner's Flask is not that helpful.
Helpful Potions[]
For food duplicating, it may be better to wait for a room with a higher vulue Food or for several food droping/duplicating items, to gain maximum vulue.
Tincture heal 60

Tempting Fate[]
- Have 6 or more Curses.
- If you haven't defeated Mortar yet, it would be the easiest way to just go and pull the lever on Delvemore Dungeon 4 when leaving to Halls of Din, which gives you 8.
- If you already have defeated Mortar, unlocking Lillyth is the best option since once you unlock her you will always have Altars to pray and get Curses on the Goldmine 1 & 3, all Delvemore Dungeon floors, Halls of Din 1 & 3, Shimmering Caverns 1 & 3, and Golden Core 1 & 3.
- Buying a Relic from Sho'guul can also help.
Witch's Brew gives 13 curses, but can only be found rarely in cursed chests and by bombing cursed torches.
Helpful options[]
Sylph from level 2, you can pray twice at Altars, giving you the option to Curse yourself more often.
- You can pray more often with
Holy Guacamole and
Devotion
- Purification Potion can curse you too.
- Taking offers from offering Rooms.
- Opening cursed Chests.
- Blowing up purple Torches.
- If you are lucky enough to get the Tariffs curse it will also double curse costs, giving you more Curses when praying or taking offers.
- Items can give Curses when bought from Sho'guul.
- Getting touched by
Will o' the Wisp or Noori's third attack.
Summoning Stones[]
- Defeat every Boss in the Ascension to unlock the Summoning Stone. See Selt, Mortar, Noori, Ponzu and Seer, World's Heart to see each Boss's attacks and tips.
- Higher ascension levels can be very lethal, so it is advised to be fully upgraded and unlock most Characters.
- You can avoid unlocking items you do not like to have a higher chance of getting something good.
Challenge Accepted[]
- Pick up Summoning Stone for the first time.
Hurt Me Plenty[]
- Pick up Summoning Stone for the 10th time.
Let's Suffer Together[]
- Pick up Summoning Stone for 30 times.
Others[]
Did You Read Them First?[]
- Simply destroy 20 signs.
Stop, Drop and Roll... in Water[]
- First, set yourself on fire (could be done with stepping on torches or burning ground/Oil, getting hit by a Fiery Glomp, Fiery Uberglomp or Gargoyle's attacks, getting hit from the flaming crystal ball, sparks from TNT barrels, getting hit by the Waking Light or Rain of Fire curse).
- Then, you need to quickly find water to step on, before the ignite status effect is over.
- It's easier to first find a room with water, and then find a close way to set yourself on fire since there are so many ways to ignite yourself.
Galoshes can help to set you on fire by spreading flameable Oil across the room.
- Note: you do not have to actually take the damage from the fire (for example, if you have both
Firebird and
Gordon's Tunic you may not be damaged, but it still counts as being on fire).
Tastes Better This Way[]
- Eat cooked Food.
- Cook food by setting it on fire. Can be done with Firebird's attacks if the Food is very close to her target, flaming crystal balls or Waking Light sending fireballs towards your direction, Passing your thrown pickaxe through fire (needs a fire pool or a Torch) and then through the Food (Rain of Fire and TNT's fire pools can also work here), hitting Food with your melee attack with
Salamander Tail, or using
Fury Potion next to Food.
- Can also cook Food with
Pocket Grill.
- Beware to not destroy the Food.
- The Crumbles will not let you cook food at all as it will just be destoryed.
- Food standing on water takes less damage, allowing you to have a safter way to cook.
Never Tell Me the Odds[]
- Have any popcorn Relic duplicating an item 5 times.
- Having
Duplicator, Transmutagen Blast, Transmutagen or TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle can help you get one of the popcorn Relics.
- These Relics are
Popcorn,
Seasoned Popcorn, and
Golden Popcorn.
- Since you get more Gold nuggets in the game, Golden Popcorn is the most affective. This includes Gold spawned from mined gold rocks,
Auglycerin, Chests and Bosses.
Purified[]
- Remove a Curse.
- This can be done with Penance in the Altar, Purification Potion, Holy Water, Purge Potion or Talisman (must have Lillyth unlocked for that to appear).
- The
Sylph reduces the cost of Penance, making it easier to use it.
- The Spirit from level 2 Gives a higher chance to obtain Potions, which can be one of the above.
- You can get a curse by opening up a cursed Chest, blowing up a purple Torch, praying in Altars, pulling the lever to Halls of Din if you havent defeated Mortar yet, drinking Purification Potion =taking Relics from offering Rooms, or getting hit from
Will o' the Wisp and Noori's third attack.
- Unlocking Lillyth make it easier to the player to get this achievement as unlocking her makes it so there are always Altars on Goldmine 1 and 3, all floors in Delvemore Dungeon, floors 1 and 3 in the Halls of Din, floors 1 and 3 in the Shimmering Caverns, and floors 1 and 3 in the Golden Core, and she unlocks
Talisman.
Careful Planing[]
- You will need to transmute three Relics with Transmutagen. They must be in the same room.
- The easiest way to get three relics in the same room is to use Hoodie to fast travel to the Halls of Din or further from the Goldmine. Hoodie gifts you with two relics per location skipped. You cannot use this method if you are tying to warp from the Halls of Din or Shimmering Caverns.
- Another way to obtain this achievement is to unlock
Mighty Metamorphim. When you have this, you only need to find 3 Relics and the Transmutagen. You can also use the Transmutagen in offering rooms that contain 3 Relics but they are quite hard to find. You may find 3 Relics at the Shop as well, but it must be upgraded and for you to have Simple Chest. There are several ways to make it easier for you to find Transmutagen:
- Having Spirit (on level 3) gives a chance of spawning a potion when drinking other Potions, giving you a small chance to obtain Transmutagen. It also allows you to carry 1 more potion, making it easier to keep the potion on you for a long time without giving up on other Potions.
- Having Empty Bottle upgrades, for more place to carry Potions. Again, easier to keep the potion for longer without giving up on other Potions.
- Having TRANSMUT3 Installation upgraded to max, making it more likely for Shops to have TRANSMUT3 Installation. You can use it to re-roll the potions in the room.
- Having the Shop's upgrades to the max for a higher chance of finding the Potion.
TRANSMUT3 in a Bottle You can also just start right away with the item when crafting it first time. Used for potions' re-rolling.
Sol's Phoenix can be usefull as you can use TRANSMUT3 Installation with less risk.
Shop in a Bottle the Shop may contain the Potion.
Simple Chest gives a higher chance for you to encounter Transmutagen as more items are sold in Shops. Also increases chances for you to find 3 different Relics in the Shop.
- One option is to keep a
Metamorphim on you and look for
Pilfer's Gift. When obtaining Pilfer's Gift, 2 Relics will drop on the ground. One more Relic can be dropped on the ground with the Metamorphim, and then you can use
Transmutagen to transform all three and get the achievement.
If you have trouble unlocking Mighty Metamorphim, and you are starting to look for the offering Rooms, you can use Djinn and Potion of True Sight to make it easier for you to find crawl spaces. They can also be in normal rooms, and will require one Key to enter them.
Why Can't I Hold All These Potions?[]
Helpful items[]
Spirit- allows you to hold +1 potions and gives higher hance of finding Potions.
Empty Bottle upgrades to be able to hold more Potions.
Rainbow Kernels since it can duplicate Potions as well, it can make it easier for you.
Familiar with Familiars[]
- Get a Familiar on maximum level (for now, level 3).
- As for now,
Nikko,
Thunderbird and
Firebird are the best options due to them being leveled up really fast (sometimes can get to level 3 before Delvemore Dungeon). The
Canary and the
Spirit can level up quite fast too.
Cosmic Egg will allow you to level up your Familiar 3 times as much. The
Biscuits allows you to level up 3 times as well, but it is very temporary. These two stacks, which can make it so you level up 9 times faster.
Miner's Flask can make
Biscuits last longer, and so do the berry upgrades at Baba's in the Hub.
