Ara is a relic item in UnderMine.
Every time the Peasant prays at an Altar, they receive a temporary buff that prevents the next Curse from being applied. This includes Curses from praying at an Altar and offerings from Sho'guul. It cannot block indestructible curses inflicted by 
Siegfried's Aegis and 
Siegfried's Torment.
Ara activates before 
Doll.
