Summary

It's very important for the peasant, he can find gold in The Goldmines and must collect the ore in his sack. Upon death, he'll lose some of it. Little cave dwelling creatures often steal chunks of gold. This is also shown in some pictures of the concept art of UnderMine.

In the game the Pilfer suddenly sneak up from the ground and run off with gold chunks. Gold can be used to purchase items from Arkanos and the Shop Keeper.
