Poison Mushroom is a major curse item in UnderMine.

It reduces maximum health by 1 each time the player kills an enemy. Hitting enemies into spikes or pits does not trigger the curse. Lost maximum health is regained when the curse is lifted.

This curse will reduce the Peasant's maximum HP to 1, though the number displayed by the curse can go lower than the Peasant's max health, as it will remove HP from relics like Ursa Major or Ursine Ring.
