Siegfried's Aegis is a relic item in UnderMine.
It inflicts a major Curse at the start of every floor (except for antechamber floors). The curses given from this relic are marked in red and are Indestructible. Curses that have a one-time effect (e.g., 
Blessing Eater) are removed when activated.
The shield cannot be destroyed, sold, or offered to the Relic Altar.
It can be discovered in the top-right corner of the first Othermine antechamber. Once transformed into the 
Paladin Shield by completing a run with it, it won't appear there anymore.
After the player has gotten all the 
Major Curses in the curse pool, they will not receive any indestructible curses from Siegfried's Aegis.
