The Shimmering Caverns is an area in UnderMine. It is a crystalline labyrinth that is home to creatures like 
Glimmerweeds, 
Lucent Imps, and Ponzu’s Scales. It is unlocked after defeating Noori, but the area can also be unlocked by defeating 3 waves of Scales in the room before the exit.
The environment itself is hostile. Shatter Rocks are delicate rocks that are damaged by large vibrations, such as a bomb detonating. When they are destroyed they scatter sharp projectiles in all directions. There are also Prism Stones that split projectiles into four and send them firing off at new trajectories. There is no water to extinguish fire, though no environmental hazards or enemies can ignite the player.

Notes
- Unlike any other location, the caverns are dry, and no water can be found on the ground which makes extinguishing harder. However, since none of these enemies ignite, the player should be rather safe from fire (unless inflicted by other sources, such as some Curses).
